General

Q: How do the algorithms work and how are my summaries created?

Read this helpful blog post to find out.

Q: How do I get the most out of Summify?

Connect as many Twitter, Facebook, Google accounts as possible (it works better with more!) and make sure you follow/friend people that actually interest you.

Q: How can I stop my Twitter mentions?

Log in to your Twitter account and tweet: "@SummaryMentions stop mentions" - keep in mind that tweets will only be stopped for the twitter account that sends the message.

Q: How do I reset my password? I'm not receiving the password reset emails!

You have probably signed-up for Summify using a social account (Twitter, Facebook or Google Reader), therefore you don't have a password. If you'd like to create a password, log in with one of your social accounts and create one here.

Q: How do I add and delete RSS feeds in Summify?

Your Google Reader account does not automatically sync with Summify. If you want to add more feeds you must add them in Google Reader and then re-add your account by clicking the "g-connect" button in your Account Settings. Similarly, if you delete a feed in Google Reader it is not automatically deleted in your Summify feeds - you must manage your feeds manually in the Feeds Settings area.

Q: How can I filter out a person or domain from my Summary?

Watch the video. You can filter out both contributors and domains from appearing in future summaries and nobody will ever know you filtered them out. You can manage your filters anytime.

Q: Do summaries have an RSS feed?

Yup - watch the video. You can grab the feed of any public summary using this format: http://summify.com/USERNAME/latest?format=rss (replace "USERNAME" with an actual username)

Where do I find my username? Log in to your web summary and look at the address bar to find it: http://summify.com/USERNAME/...

You can also find usernames of others' by looking at the address bar while viewing their summaries.

Mobile

Q: Do you have an iPhone version?

Yes, you can download it here.

Q: Do you have an Android version?

Not yet, we want first to get the experience right on one platform and after that move to other platforms.
